When we speak of Ramadhan to our little ones, we tell them of how beautiful it is.
We tell them, “Out of all the twelve months in a whole year, Ramadhan is the most special month of them all!”
It is a month where we bring our hearts closer not only to Allah S.W.T., but to our community as well. It is the best time to instil good values such as patience and kindness in our children, just by showing how it is done.
Dynamics in Charity
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Every Muslim has to give in charity.”
The people then asked: “(But what) if someone has nothing to give, what should he do?”
The Prophet replied: “He should work with his hands and benefit himself and also give in charity (from what he earns).”
The people further asked: “If he cannot find even that?”
He replied: “He should help the needy who appeal for help.”
Then the people asked: “If he cannot do (even) that?”
The Prophet said finally: “Then he should perform good deeds and keep away from evil deeds, and that will be regarded as charitable deeds.”
– Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 2, Hadith 524
We Love and We Care
It is with that in mind that our Genius Aulad teachers across Malaysia have decided to come together to help out various organisations and individuals in this blessed month through a special Ramadhan Charity Drive called “First We Need Love”.
We reached out to these organisations and individuals to find out what they needed the most and provided the opportunity for our community (be it teachers, parents or simply anyone who wants to chip in!) to contribute at several of our Genius Aulad Centres.
Delivering Our Love
Alhamdullilah, the turnout is fantastic so far! It is lovely and heart-warming to see so many people contributing and helping out.
On the 2nd of June, our first team distributed the items with the help of our brothers from the Network & Facility Department.
- Genius Aulad Kajang delivered diapers and milk powder to the single mothers and babies in Rumah Kita.
- Genius Aulad Gombak and Genius Aulad Rawang delivered Raya cookies, instant nasi impit and lemang to Darul Ilmi.
- Genius Aulad Kota Kemuning delivered rice and cooking oil to Projek Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) Lembah Subang.
- Genius Aulad USJ 21 delivered adult diapers and milk powder to the elderly at Rumah Jagaan dan Rawatan Orang Tua Puchong.
- Genius Aulad Taman Tasik Prima delivered milo to Sekolah Kebangsaan Puchong Utama (OKU).
The other team is still actively receiving donations from the public and will be distributing the items on the 9th of June. If you would like to be a part of their First We Need Love, do reach out to them!

- Genius Aulad Kelana Jaya is collecting Raya cookies, instant nasi impit, instant lemang and cordial for Rumah Kasih, Taman Medan.
- Genius Aulad Putrajaya Presint 15 andGenius Aulad Putrajaya Presint 8 are collecting rice for Projek Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) Gombak Setia.
- Genius Aulad Setia Alam is collecting food packets that consist of biscuits, cereal, mineral water and 3-in-1 milo for the homeless in Warong Furqan.
- Genius Aulad Cyberjaya is collecting Raya cookies, instant nasi impit and instant lemang for the Asnaf Orphanage.
